Drew got me a new camera as an early Mother's Day gift. We've been wanting one, and this was a great surprise! I really have no clue about photography, but since all of our travels while in law school, I've wanted to learn about it to capture those really beautiful sights/scenes. The day after I got it, we met Drew for dinner at his school since he's got finals going on. So here are a few pics from the new camera. By default, Makenna is the subject in nearly all my shots. Oh well, she'll be grateful when she grows up at the extent to which I've captured her childhood. I'll get better with practice, I hope.

Manns,
I love the blog! I had been wondering if you had one =). We recently started one too, it's so much fun and such a fabulous way to keep in touch! Makenna is so adorable, what a cute family! When are you headed to D.C.? How is the house hunting? Why does everyone have to live so far away?! OK not EVERYone, but a lot of good ones...=)
I love your pics & am so jealous you have a fabulous new camera:) We went to UofR to take Nick's grad pics (I know, kind of hypocritical since he's graduating from VCU). However, it truly is beautiful and I'm glad your blog 'talked' me into visitng such a great campus. I think Makenna is growing up too fast with her adorable waving and clapping...
