The other day I was at the doctor's office with Makenna and Addison in the waiting room. Makenna wandered over to a selection of children's books. She selected one we have at home, No David by David Shannon. Before I record her interpretation of the book, let me tell you that over the past couple of months she has been obsessed with the Primary song, "Latter-Day Prophets." She makes us sing it with her nightly.
Proof of her undying love for this song (she's being a bit goofy, but let me assure you, she's got all the words down pat, even if they don't sound entirely intelligible):
She began to read the book aloud for all to hear:
"NO DAVID O. MCKAY. NO!!!
NAUGHTY DAVID O. MCKAY, NAUGHTY.
Mommy, David O. McKay being naughty right here.
NO, NO!!!"
And there you have it. If the sweet prophet were alive today, I would be very reluctant to take her to see him at General Conference.

NO David O Mckay...That is hilarious! I love it. Cute movie. What a brilliant girl, I don't even have that one memorized.
That is hilarious. That is actually Carter's favorite book...so maybe we will hold off on teaching him that song. If he walks in the house and realizes he forgot to take his shoes off he says naughty David, take your shoes off, and then giggles. The David books are seriously so cute.
haha I LOVE IT!~
