First off, this little one is 3 1/2 months already. She is the happiest, smiliest, giggliest baby in the world and we ADORE her, all of us. She sleeps through the night; she hangs out around town with us without even the tiniest complaint; she chills in her high chair, swing, and play mat letting me get things done; she's generally the most awesome baby ever. I can't believe we've only known her a quarter of a year. It feels like she's been a part of our family from the beginning.

Grandma and Grandpa came in March and helped us celebrate Addison's 3rd birthday and bless Kendall. Since Christmas, Addison has been begging, planning, and anticipating her Tinkerbell party. About 20 minutes before the festivities began, she dressed in her Snow White gown...obviously. It didn't matter that I had an adorable outfit planned for pictures, complete with a fairy crown. She didn't want her beloved Snow White to think she was playing favorites.
Here she is with her requested Tinkerbell cake. She wanted strawberry cake with purple frosting. Notice the wings? All party-goers were donning fairy wings during the festivities.

...even the men.  (The things daddies do for their girls.)

Ms. Snow White Tinkerbell opening her presents. Her very own jewelry box. Now she doesn't have to share with her big sis. (Makenna 2 seconds after she opened it, "Hey Addison, let's trade and you can have my old one, okay?!")

Baby Kendall's blessing day. She was such a doll and didn't cry one bit up on the stand. Only faux pas of the day was Daddy not holding up his baby to show the awaiting congregation. I thought that was standard protocol at a blessing; clearly Drew did not.  The blessing was beautiful, though, and our dear friends, the Kings, drive down to be there for it.
Grandma and Grandpa with us after the blessing. We're laughing because we're taking this picture with another ward waiting to come in and 30+ people are waiting sort of patiently to pass us in the hallway.
While my parents were here we drove up to Gettysburg and on the way, stopped at one of my very favorite places, the Offray Ribbon Outlet, where one can spend very little money on an obscene amount of ribbon she may or may not have any use for in the next 10 years. But it's joyous nevertheless.

Gettysburg National Park on a cold, windy day. This was right before a nasty flu bug overtook me for the next 24 hours- yuck.

Grandma, granddaughter cooing time. Kendall was taken with her goofy grandma and visa versa.
Dad got us a quick meeting with Sen. Jeff Flake from AZ and afterward we toured the Capital and the new Visitor's Center, which we hadn't been to since it's been finished. Another cold, windy day.
These girls were amazing, as usual.

The rotunda at the Capital Building.
 BRIGHAM YOUNG!!

Makenna is awesome at breaking out in random ballet moves all about town. I think it's kind of endearing.
The first of the cherry blossoms made their debut on our one day downtown! Personally, I think  cherry blossoms and wool hats/parkas shouldn't fit in the same picture.

Then three days after Grandma and Grandpa left, Grandma Karen came to visit during Spring Break. She came just in time for Easter festivities. We started out going to Dodona Manor in Leesburg for the Easter Egg hunt. Bonus of the day, we entered a raffle and won $50 to Costco!

This one won "Scariest Bunny of my Life", complete with a scrawny body and a nappy ponytail coming it the back of its head. But it didn't phase the girls, which is all that matters I guess.
Makenna and bestie Neve after the egg hunt.
Our fun friends, the Sorensons, after our Spring day in Leesburg. Also worth noting is the delicious shop, Mom's Apple Pie, which is a must-visit for us (admittedly 1/2 the reason we go back to this egg hunt every year;)
Sweet Addison learning to ride her new bike that she got for her birthday. Grandma helped her with the "forward and back" motion of her feet to teach her to pedal. The whole next week I would catch her chanting "forward and back" in the back seat of the van while driving.
Easter Sunday with the girls in their new dresses that Grandma and Grandpa got them. This was taken after church, which hopefully explains why we all look worn out and a bit disheveled.
Drew took Monday off after Easter and we headed to Frying Pan Farm Park to see all the animals. We found a baby goat that was born at the same time on the same day as Kendall, December 29th at 8am. How ironic is that?

Old Town Alexandria on the trolley for Grandma's last day here.

We loved having all our visitors during March! It's a good excuse to go sight see when we normally wouldn't. Also the girls love all that extra attention day in and day out!

And one more picture to end this abundance of pictures. Sweet baby girl, we love her so much.
