Apple Picking

Makenna: I know what I want to be when I grow up but I don't want to tell you Mom, because it won't come true.
Me: If you tell me, I can help you become whatever you want. (Waiting with baited breath for her life proclamation)
Makenna: Well, ok. I really want to be a Fairy Queen. Like I want to be a fairy and I want to be Queen of all the fairies.
Addison: Well, I want to be a Princess Fairy Queen when I grow up.
Makenna: Addison, do you want to be a princess or a queen?
Addison: A Princess Fairy Queen. I just love it.

Glad to know they're shooting for the stars.

And Saturday we went apple picking at Hartland Orchard in Markham. We picked 2 whole bushels of every delicious kind imaginable. We love this annual tradition, as well as picking a pumpkin right off the vine. Fall is in the air!
