I now have two children. My sweet mom has come and gone. Drew is away on business this week. I feel a little like I've been hit with a ton of bricks. Do you know the feeling?
Oh how spoiled I became with my wonderful husband home for a week and my doting mom here for two. If only I could be waited on hand and foot for eternity, lifting a finger merely to point the way for chores needing to be done. My mom was truly a saint: cooking meals; baking treats; cleaning bathrooms; spoiling Makenna with novelty treats and her precious time; and giving me more sympathy than any post-partum woman deserves. Thank you, Mom. Truly.

I hate when my mom has to leave after a baby is born. You are not alone, my dear!! Such fun to be a spoiled new mommy with happy kids and a clean house while you enjoy the newborn. You'll find a new "normal" soon.

Its amazing how big mckenna looks now that you have addison! You have some cute kids! And you will enjoy having two girls together like that, its so fun!
Makenna is huge! I can't believe how they grow up overnight once you introduce a new little one into the family. How wonderful to have your Mom in town for two weeks. That is so awesome! Too bad the two weeks feel like TWO DAYS! : ) Hope you are hanging in there and doing well!!!
